Asian Attractions Expo is the largest trade show and conference for the attractions industry in Asia.

More than 3,000 professionals from amusement and theme parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers, casinos, and resorts participate in the annual event to develop and purchase new attractions and products for their facilities, see what’s new in the industry, learn best practices, and network with colleagues.

Kuala Lumpur Offers All-in-One Experience
Located in the heart of Petronas’ Kuala Lumpur City Centre development (KLCC), the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre received a CEI (Central European Initiative) 2009 Industry Award for Asia’s Best Convention & Exhibition Centre. From its opening in June 2005 to December 2008, the facility has hosted 1,800 events and contributed more than RM $1.8 billion (approximately US$500 million) to the city’s economy. The center’s 20,059 square meters includes two auditoriums, 9,710 square meters of exhibition halls, a grand ballroom, banquet hall, conference hall, and 20 other meeting rooms.

What: Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) 2010 – Asia’s largest trade show and conference for the region’s $6 billion leisure and attractions industry.Education sessions at AAE will cover core issues of attractions operations, marketing, and safety, with speeches from Asian industry leaders and behind-the-scenes tours at local attractions. Unique networking events are also planned throughout the week for attendees to make meaningful firsthand connections within the industry.
When: July 13 – 16, 2010The IAAPA Safety Institute will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on July 13.

The education conference will take place July 14 – 16; and the trade show floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 14 and 15, and from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on July 16.

Where: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The KLCC was awarded Asia’s Best Convention & Exhibition Center in 2009 by the Central European Initiative. Nearby attractions include Genting Highlands Resort, Sunway Lagoon,the Petronas Twin Towers, Petrosains Discovery Centre, and the Batu Caves.
Who: Organizers anticipate more than 3,000 attractions industry professionals from theme parks, waterparks, zoos, aquariums, museums, family entertainment centers, casinos, and resorts will participate in the event. In the Expo hall, more than 150 companies from 25 countries will showcase innovative products and services in more than 100 categories, including amusement and theme park rides; architectural and design services; coin-operated games, skill games, and redemption prizes; theatrical productions; and maintenance services and equipment.
